Rafting trip info and payment info

White Water Rafting/Camping May 19th But Payment do Friday the 27th!!!
If you need a little more time for your friends let me know.. But I like to book the trip first thing Monday. Cabin may be full already.

Okay it’s $250 for the Rafting trip a person.
Wetsuit rental is $15 to 20 for the day but not required.

Campground you can come join us at the cabin the R- Ranch for all the activites for FREE

Camp ground is $15 per day per car…

So make one check out for $250 for the Rafting trip and you can both give me cash for the cabin when we meet. Mail check info below. Call me when you mailed check. Also enclose a self address envelope so it the rafting trip does not go threw I can return it to you.. But we still will go camping if you want at the ranch.

You can come up just for the day for Rafting or just come up and join us for the camping fun. This will be over the weekend of the 18th to the 20th. Sunday the 20th is the full day rafting trip.

We can only take the first 6 (Paid) RSVPs for the rafting trip. Payment due by Monday (Deadline)

Here is the link to the R-Ranch:. rranch.org/index.html Everyone else must stay in the campgrounds adjacent to the R-Ranch at the cost of $15 per CAR (average price) could be more or less? So fill up your car with guests. (Check prices with the campgrounds in the area) Buy a cheap tent from Wal-Mart for $50 and you’re all set. A list will be made available to you with campgrounds in the area as well as hotel lodging in Kernville zip code 93238 just 20 minutes from the R-Ranch.

•    (There will also be a just camping heading on the website where you can RSVP for the camping and not the White Water Rafting Trip) Even throw you are camping out side the grounds of the R-Ranch, you will get permission and be put on a guest list to come onto the R-Ranch property to meet up with our group and join us for some of activates, including our get together at night for a BBQ and Camp fire.

•   Also below will be a list of Activates available at the R-Ranch for your enjoyment. You’re welcome to join our group at the R-Ranch for free. So for those that don’t want to Water Raft maybe you would like to book a Horse Back Riding trip? Also must have Boots with at least a one inch heel to ride. (Free) to ride, but it is a first come first served event, there is a sign up sheet. More info below.

White Water Rafting Info: Upper Kern

Just a 3 hour drive from Los Angeles.

This will be a full day trip including lunch on the water. 8:00 to 3:00

Some of the rapids and areas of this course we’ll have to get out and carry our raft to the next entry point. Some people like this trip as this gives you time to rest during the adventure.

This is a class III and IV rapids. Ideal for both the first timers and the Veterans. Minimum age requirement is 12 years old and must be accompanied by an adult.

Also this time of year Wetsuits are not required, but you can either bring your own or you can rent them for an extra charge of $15 to $20 for the day if you want one.

Cost of the Rafting trip is $250 per person including Tax and 3% National Park Fee.

If you are lucky enough to get into the Cabin at an extra charge of $25 per night Please send Checks to be made out separately for this part of the event. You will need to bring a Sleeping Bag, Pillows, Towels, Toilet paper and your Food for the weekend. Food for BBQ at night as well as Breakfast and lunch. Also need to bring a nice size cooler for some of your items as there is little room in the Refrigerator at the cabin for drinks and things. We are trying to save the space in the Refrigerator for food.

Activates at the R-Ranch
We may even have 2 teams for some fun computation between the groups.

•   Archery range Does anyone have a set we can use? They do not rent. (Possible Team Event)
•   Basketball courts ( Bring a Ball)
•   BMX bike riding / trails ( bring your own bikes and safety gear) (Possible Team Event)
•   Dancing to live music (Country Night)
•   Family Center
•   Fishing in R-Lake and nearby rivers & streams (Bring your own gear) No License required on the Ranch of the Ranch you need a license.)
•   Frisbee Golf Course (Possible Team Event)
•   Gun Range (Bring your own gear, you must be, ex military, ex police, or have taken a safety shooting course to use. Bring Proof.
•   Hiking in the Sequoia National Forest (Bring Back pack, food, water hiking boots)
•   Horseshoe Pit (Possible Team Event)
•   Horse Back Riding (Free) (Also must have Boots with at least a one inch heel to ride. (Sign ups are first come first served)
•   Jacuzzis (Bring your own Bathing suit) Just kidding.
•   Swimming pool
•   Tennis (Bring your own gear)
•   Trail riding
•   Numerous family social events
Again if you don’t get into the cabin and have to camp outside the park you are able to join us at the R-Ranch for all the fun Activates.

*** Payment for the White Water Rafting part of the trip must be paid in Advance. Sorry for the short notice but the Rafting company wants there money up front. (Sorry no refunds.) If you pay Coed Sports and then realize you can no longer go, you must find someone to take your place. That person must then pay you to make up for you lose. So save all this info incase you may have to email them about the trip.

*** Coed Sports must receive a check for payment by Tuesday the 10th. There are only a few spots left for this date. If we do not receive payment for the Rafting trip in time we may not get a spot. If this happens your Checks will be returned to you. Please enclose a self addressed Stapled envelope with your payment. This will also be used to send you your waiver form or to return you payment.

If you would like a chance to be in the Cabin just let me know and I will see if there is still room. We can probably get a 3 bedroom cabin (most have twin beds or bunk beds),so everyone would have to share a room. And when we all checkout, everyone would have to help to clean the cabin. Just a general cleaning that takes maybe 30 minutes. I will let you know if you get in the Cabin, if so you can send a check for that after you get word.

If you don’t get into our cabin you must find out side lodging or just drive up for the day and head back after your trip, it’s a 3 hour drive from Los Angeles.
